About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting and shaping high-quality cultural services? Do you have an eye for detail, and a flair for continuous improvement?Lincolnshire County Council’s Culture Service is seeking a proactive and organisedCulture Officerto join our dynamic team.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and resilience of Libraries, Heritage, and Archive services across Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities

As a Culture Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our service is effective, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of the community. Your core duties will include:

* Project Delivery:Lead and support service development projects that enhance our cultural offer and improve access for residents.
* Performance and Analysis:Monitor, analyse, and report on performance data to support evidence-based decision-making.
* Contract Monitoring:Maintain and update the contracts register to ensure compliance and transparency across service agreements.
* Service Planning:Assist in the regular review and update of the Culture Service Plan to align with strategic goals.
* Business Continuity:Support planning and processes to ensure service continuity during disruptions or emergencies.
* Procurement Support:Assist with procurement exercises in line with council policies and procedures.


About You

We are looking for someone who is:

* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with experience managing multiple priorities.
* Confident using data to drive service improvements.
* A clear communicator, able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
* Enthusiastic about the value of cultural services and their role in community life.
* Familiar with local government processes, particularly in planning, procurement, and performance reporting (desirable but not essential).

Fluency Duty
