Job Description: Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative / FLT Driver to join our leading client located in West Bromwich.
As a Yard Operative, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the yard by using a FLT to load, unload, and transport goods within the yard.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
-Operate FLT to move and position goods and other materials
-Load and unload delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
-Conduct regular checks on FLT and around the yard to maintain a good working condition
-Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
-Always adhere to health and safety procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
-Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
-Previous experience within a similar role is beneficial
-Good understanding of health and safety regulations
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Excellent communication skills
Hours:
08:00am - 17:00pm from Monday to Friday
Pay Rate:
£12.21 per hour
This is a temporary assignment with the view to go permanent after a successful trial period.
