What You'll Be Doing
As a Relief Security Officer, you'll be a visible and professional presence across DWP locations, helping to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Covering security duties across multiple DWP sites
2. Protecting staff, visitors and government property
3. Responding calmly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
4. Conducting patrols and identifying potential risks
5. Completing reports and maintaining accurate records
6. Delivering excellent customer service at all times
7. Working independently and alongside emergency services when required
What We're Looking For
We're seeking reliable and professional individuals who can confidently work across a range of locations.
Essential Requirements:
8. Previous security experience
9. Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
10. Full UK driving licence
11. Access to your own vehicle
12. Strong communication and customer service skills
13. Flexible, professional and dependable attitude
14. Ability to work independently and use initiative
