We are seeking compassionate and emotionally resilient Support Workers to work within supported living services, supporting individuals to live as independently as possible in their own homes and communities. The role involves providing person- centred support to individuals who may have complex needs and display challenging behaviours. Candidates must have experience supporting individuals with behaviours that challenge and be able to remain calm and professional in high- pressure situations.
Applicants should have completed Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training and have training and experience in Positive Behaviour Support ( PBS) and Positive Behaviour Management ( PBM), enabling them to follow behaviour support plans and use appropriate strategies to support individuals safely and respectfully. Responsibilities will include promoting independence, assisting with daily living tasks where required, maintaining accurate records, and working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of care and support is delivered.
