About the Role
Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Butlin’s Restaurants Department in Skegness!
As a key player in our kitchen, you’ll report directly to the Kitchen Manager and help lead a dynamic team of up to 15 passionate individuals. Your mission? To ensure our guests leave with smiles on their faces! You’ll be at the heart of our operations, making sure that every decision keeps our guests as the central focus.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource planning, recruitment, and selection to build the best team.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to high standards.
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health & safety regulations.
* Inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service every time.
Join us in leading our main buffet restaurant, where you’ll have the chance to develop your team’s skills while serving guests who have booked a half-board dining package. Variety is the spice of life, and we can’t wait for you to bring your unique flair!
About You
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals with experience in a similar role, or those eager to step up in their kitchen career. If you’re hardworking, reliable, and always looking for ways to improve, we want to hear from you!
Here’s what we’re looking for:
* Energetic and fun-loving personality that adds value to the guest experience.
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
* Confidence in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Ability to manage margins, control costs, and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Typical Working Hours: You’ll work five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week, and you’ll be part of a bonus scheme.
