We are working with a professional sports organisation based in the West Midlands who are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead all income-generating activity across the Club's fan and business-facing revenue streams. This newly reshaped role is pivotal to realising the Club's long-term ambitions to become a premier destination for live sport, entertainment, and hospitality in the region. This is a rare opportunity to take a senior leadership position within elite sport with a modern, ambitious outlook — blending tradition with innovation to create exceptional experiences for fans, partners, and corporate clients alike. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the Head of Sales will lead on strategy, performance and execution across multiple revenue lines including Membership & Ticketing, Sponsorship & Advertising, Hospitality, Conferences & Private Events and Retail & Merchandising. You will be responsible for setting strategic direction, managing and coaching a high-performing team, and delivering growth through robust planning, pipeline management, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless delivery and strong returns across all revenue lines. Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement multi-year sales strategies and go-to-market plans across B2C and B2B revenue streams
* Lead, coach and develop a team of managers and specialists to deliver outstanding results and customer experiences
* Drive revenue and margin growth in line with ambitious targets across ticketing, hospitality, sponsorship, retail, and events
* Build compelling membership and ticketing propositions to increase acquisition, yield, and lifetime value
* Manage commercial partnerships from initial prospecting through negotiation, contracting, and activation
* Oversee retail operations and e-commerce performance, including pricing, promotions, and stock control
* Champion data-driven sales culture using CRM, ticketing, and EPOS platforms
* Represent the commercial function at internal leadership meetings and high-profile events
You will bring a proven track record in senior sales leadership, ideally within sport, entertainment, venues, or hospitality, and have experience managing multi-channel commercial portfolios. You're commercially astute, customer-focused, and thrive in a hands-on environment with seasonal peaks. We are looking to engage with individuals possess the following experience:
