We are recruiting for an IT Manager!

Purpose of the role
Main responsibilities
* Provide professional management support to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
* Install, configure, maintain, and document hardware, software, and networks.
* Ensure the security of IT systems and data, implementing best practices and protocols.
* Complete the annual Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical issues and solutions.
* Collaborate with the organisation’s external IT partner, Jisc, and network with IT departments of other colleges and IT SysMan members to ensure best practices.
* Provide training and guidance to end users.
* Lead IT projects and quality improvement initiatives, including system upgrades and new technology implementations.
* Manage the cloud telephony system.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend system improvements.
* Develop and report monthly IT-related KPIs.
* Manage the annual IT budget.
* Work with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
* Ensure IT continuity and data recovery plans are in place.
* Promote and implement high data protection standards.
