We are looking for a Client Validation Engineer to execute Battery Management System validation activities, primarily using HIL, while coordinating closely with supplier pack-level testing efforts. This role plays a key part in ensuring Client functionality, safety, and robustness through structured validation and cross-team collaboration.
The Client Validation Engineer will work with suppliers and internal propulsion and validation teams to execute test plans, manage regression testing, and provide clear validation readiness status throughout the development lifecycle.
Skill Team Role
1. Executes Client validation primarily using HIL systems.
2. Reviews supplier Client DVP&R (functional, safety, robustness) and Client-related sections of battery pack DVP&R.
3. Owns HIL execution, regression testing, and result analysis.
4. Coordinates validation activities with suppliers across:
Client level
Battery pack level
Vehicle level
5. Works closely with the Propulsion Validation Engineer to align testing strategies and schedules.
6. Logs validation issues, supports root cause analysis, and verifies corrective actions.
7. Tracks validation progress and provides validation readiness status to stakeholders.
8. Supports technical reviews and readiness assessments as required.
9. Other duties as required to ensure program success.

Experience and Education
15. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
16. Master's degree preferred
17. Experience with automotive Client validation or embedded systems testing
18. Hands-on experience with HIL platforms
The Client Validation Engineer is expected to demonstrate abilities in the following areas:Technical
19. Strong understanding of Client functionality, safety, and robustness validation
20. Experience reviewing and executing DVP&R requirements
21. Hands-on experience with HIL execution and regression testing
22. Familiarity with supplier coordination and multi-level test strategies
23. Ability to analyze test results and identify gaps or risks
24. Experience logging issues, supporting root cause, and confirming fixes
