Job Description
Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier in the North East of the UK.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts across for Industrial Engineering / MRO / Mechanical Power Transmission products such as bearings, seals, drives, motors, gearboxes, valves, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics and other mechanical engineering products.

Responsibilities
* Focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts across Industrial Engineering / MRO / Mechanical Power Transmission products such as bearings, seals, drives, motors, gearboxes, valves, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics and other mechanical engineering products.
* Maintaining industrial mechanical engineering product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
* Work remotely / field based with regular visits to customer sites across the Northeast of the UK.
* Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements
* Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within industrial mechanical engineering.
* Must have experience of face-to-face meetings and booking appointments to see customers on a weekly basis.
* Will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of mechanical / industrial products such as mechanical power transmission bearings, gearboxes, drives, motors, automation couplings, belts, chains, sprockets or similar industrial engineering products. Full product training provided.
* Determination, enthusiasm and motivation to succeed, grow and bring on new business within Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering markets.
* Full clean driving license.
* Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites throughout the Northeast of the UK.
