Key Responsibilities
* Deal with a wide variety of statutory licensing and registration functions affecting businesses and other organisations throughout the borough.
* Ensure complex licensing applications and enquiries are dealt with within required deadlines.
* Support the Licensing Manager and team in applying policies and legislation affecting the service area.
Work Environment
Opportunities to work in a hybrid (office/home) environment during the working week. Offices are in The Forum, Hemel Hempstead with staff parking.
Role Profile
This role would suit a licensing officer who wants to progress in their career and is looking for a varied and unpredictable workload in a supporting role.
Good overall knowledge of a variety of licensing functions and the ability to work well as part of a team, in addition to managing your own workload effectively.
Qualifications
* Applicants must have a driving licence that is valid in the UK and use of a vehicle.
* A basic check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
