Live-In Carer Required – Driver with Own Vehicle
We are looking for a kind, reliable, and compassionate live-in carer to support a lovely lady living with dementia. She is calm, gentle, and sociable, and would benefit from a carer who enjoys offering companionship alongside practical care.
About her:
* Calm, gentle, and friendly personality
* Sociable and enjoys good company
* Loves spending time in her garden
Role responsibilities:
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Assisting with personal care and daily routines
* Supporting and managing stoma care, including changing the stoma bag
* Changing her prescribed medication patch as required
* Helping with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home
* Completing food shopping and essential errands
* Encouraging time outdoors — she enjoys sitting in her garden and gardening during the summer months
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
* Be patient, respectful, and dependable
* Have experience in care
* Be comfortable supporting stoma care (training provided)
Additional Information
Pay & requirements:
* £125 per day
* 2 days of mandatory training before starting
* Enhanced DBS check required
