Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement plans to attract new clients and increase bookings. Identify New Client Opportunities: Research and pursue opportunities in corporate, leisure, and group. Build Client Relationships: Maintain strong ties with Meetings and Events agents, corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses. Negotiate Contracts: Handle agreements for M&E and M&E group bookings, conferences, corporate and social. Coordinate Internally: Work closely with the internal and External Marketing Teams, Director of Sales, Revenue management, and Sales Team to align goals and activity. Monitor Performance: Track sales metrics, analyze trends, and adjust strategies to meet targets.
Responsibilities

Qualifications

 * Minimum of 2 years Sales Experience (preferably within the hotel industry) with a proven record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships effectively
 * The ability to inspire and develop a sales team to meet ambitious goals
 * Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and persuasive approach
 * In-depth understanding of sales principles and strategies, with experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and performance analysis
 * Proficiency in CRM software (such as Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to generate and analyse sales data
 * Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a keen eye for detail to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
 * Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
 * Flexibility to work outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, and attend off-site meetings or events as required
