We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Instructor / Unqualified Teacher of PE to join our supportive and successful department. PE is a very popular subject and the department provides an excellent array of extra-curricular activities. The department has a very strong reputation in the local area. Students are very dedicated and committed to sports activities. Our sports facilities are excellent, including a sports hall and a very large field. This post would be ideal for a candidate who is looking to become a qualified teacher, for the right candidate we can put them on a teaching programme for September to allow them to train with us and gain QTS.
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for teaching, learning and developing. You will be required to carry out the following;
* Deliver high quality PE lessons
* Take morning, lunchtime and after school extra curricular clubs in a range of sports.
* Take extra curricular fixtures both home and away at other schools.
* Be on duty supporting whole school break times.
* Attend all whole school and PE specific CPD sessions.
We take a collaborative view of learning where good practice is shared through a structured INSET programme within school and across the Trust.
