Addressable Front-End Developer
About the role :
Addressable is a rapidly growing area within the industry and Wavemaker. We are a specialist team, combining data, audiences & creative to serve personalized ads across all digital media.
We are looking for someone who can support the entire end-to-end process of creating and setting campaigns live. Working closely with the team from concepting strategies and designs, creative builds, delivery. You will be expected to deliver high-quality work on multiple projects. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you will:
The Addressable Front-end developer will work with digital design tools, ad servers, creative management platforms, and emerging ad technologies to deliver high-quality dynamic creative ads, including building dynamic templates and creating dynamic variations. This role offers an opportunity to push the boundaries of design, audience targeting, data generation, and capture, increasing user engagement and setting Wavemaker apart in the industry.
Additionally, the role focuses on innovation in the creative space, working closely with Addressable and Data Innovation teams to develop new methods for producing dynamic creative templates. It involves prototyping, development, and focused project management to deliver unique and innovative projects.
* Take responsibility for creative production across clients using innovative Addressable solutions, ensuring high standards.
* Support creative feed management, building creative variants from core templates.
* Responsible for activation of addressable campaigns.
* Own QA of all produced materials against brand guidelines.
* Develop and maintain expertise in the end-to-end Addressable product.
* Lead on creative strategy and design requests.
* Work as the sole developer on projects and as part of a team.
* Deliver and exceed expectations on creative briefs.
* Manage timelines, deliveries, SLAs, and expectations effectively.
* Build strong relationships with client teams, communicating and educating on ways of working.
* Maintain excellent communication skills, comfortable with senior interactions at business and technical levels.
* Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Focus on results and delivery.
Core skills:
* Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Experience with JavaScript animation libraries (GSAP) or CSS keyframe animations.
* Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
* Experience building hand-coded dynamic creative (preferred).
* Experience building HTML5 banners.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding data manipulation.
