An exciting opportunity hasarisen for a Salaried GP to join our innovative, high achieving and friendly practice on the border of Gosport in Hampshire. We are looking for a salaried GP to join our team for 4 sessions per week.
We are close to major motorway networks and supported by excellent schools and colleges. The surrounding area is on an idyllic peninsula being near both Lee‑on‑the‑Solent and Stokes Bay beaches and a short walk to Alver Valley Country Park.
We can offer a flexible working day, a variety of routine and urgent care work and the experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
* £10,500 per session per annum

You will be part of a supportive team of 2 GP partners, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, practice nurses, a PCN Pharmacist, PCN First Contact Physio and an in‑house pharmacy technician.
Deliver patient‑centred care for our population of 9,200 patients.
Have purpose built and spacious surgery.
Have a stable and resilient clinical workforce.
Are part of a well‑developed Primary Care Network and the extended support team consists of social prescribers, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, paramedics, a frailty care team, enhanced access service and home visiting service.
Use a digital first triage model, with 90% of patient requests arriving via Anima.
Have a focused management team to drive forward change and develop processes.
This is a salaried position and the contract will be the standard BMA model for GPs.

Job responsibilities

Qualifications
* Fully qualified GP
* GMC registration
* On medical performers list
* Enhanced and disclosure and barring service check
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work within the changing structures of the NHS and work to the requirements of other regulatory bodies
* Worked in GP practice
* Ability to input to strategic and practice development requirements
* Suggest improvements for change in a positive and inclusive manner
