We have recently opened a brand-new restaurant, 74 Duke, in Mayfair and are looking for a skilled, charismatic, and organised Reception Manager to oversee guest relations and manage our reservations function, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience from the moment they arrive.
74 Duke is a beautifully designed space offering an exceptional dining experience, combining high-quality French cuisine in a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere from morning to night.
This exciting new opening is the latest addition to BVC Hospitality, which operates a portfolio of innovative, globally recognised food concepts, including NAC, Le Cafe NAC, Crme, and Supernova. With a strong presence in London, Paris, and the Middle East, BVC Hospitality is renowned for blending creativity with operational excellence, delivering outstanding dining experiences across multiple markets.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious new concept at 74 Duke, working closely with senior management to create a standout hospitality experience.
POSITION SUMMARY
As Reception Manager at 74 Duke, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire dining experience. You will personally manage the reservations system, coordinate guest arrivals, and ensure smooth communication with the floor, kitchen, and bar teams.
We are looking for a confident, warm, and highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for creating exceptional first impressions and delivering five-star hospitality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all reservations and the reservations system, balancing guest satisfaction with operational efficiency.

Greet and seat guests with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Ensure all guest notes, requests, and dietary requirements are communicated clearly to the team.

Work closely with the floor, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow.

Handle guest issues or complaints promptly and effectively, turning challenges into positive experiences.

Maintain an immaculate reception area and ensure brand standards are consistently upheld.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience as a Reception Manager, Head Receptionist, or similar role in a high-volume, quality-driven venue.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

A passion for hospitality, people, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Confidence in handling reservations systems and POS software.

Ability to remain calm, professional, and approachable under pressure.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak service hours.
