Head of Higher-Level Skills & Apprenticeships (ECBT) – Onsite | Suffolk New College, Ipswich
Location: Ipswich (Suffolk). Salary: £43,257 – £49,836 per year. Hours: 35 hours per week (includes some teaching hours), 52 weeks a year. Contract: Permanent. This post is based at Suffolk New College; however, the college is a multi-campus site and travel between campuses may be required.
Responsibilities
* Lead on the operational and strategic aspects of Higher-Level Skills and apprenticeships programmes within Engineering, Construction & Building Technologies.
* Work closely with the Director to proactively support, lead and develop staff to deliver an exceptional learner experience.
* Demonstrate excellent people management and development skills.
* Provide expertise in working with T Levels, Apprenticeship standards, commercial courses, and higher-level programmes.
* Build and develop effective and sustainable relationships with employers and stakeholders.
* Apply creative and innovative approaches to deliver an exceptional student experience and improved student outcomes.
* Undertake some teaching hours and demonstrate proven teaching expertise in a related subject area.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree or professional qualification.
* Maths and English at level 2 or equivalent.
* Teaching qualification at level 5.
