* Read straightforward drawings, mark out, prep, and get set
* MIG weld mild steel from 1 mm+, small and large fabrications
* Square, clamp, and check to 1 mm tolerances with sensible measuring
* Dress, fettle, and finish to a clean standard
* Lend a hand across the bay to keep jobs moving
Key skills
* Confident MIG basics on mild steel, improvers considered
* Able to read drawings and measure accurately to 1 mm
* Comfortable switching between small parts and bigger assemblies
* Pride in neat welds, tidy work area, and getting first time right
