Location: Dover (Hybrid) Contract: 12 months (with potential to be extended or made permanent) Salary: £30,408 Closing Date: 26 September 2025 The role Part of the Finance team, the Finance Data Assurance Officer is a new and exciting role at Migrant Help. You will your key responsibilities will include monitoring data quality in relation to operational and contractual requirements. You will implement controls to prevent errors while ensuring that financial records comply with regulatory standards and internal policies. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that financial data accurately represents genuine charitable activities and funding sources. Role responsibilities Ensure financial data across systems (finance, contacts, grants, donors) is accurate, consistent and up to date. Monitor data quality, ensuring compliance with contractual and organisational requirements. Perform regular data reconciliation between financial statements and commercial contract information. Conduct data quality checks and controls to detect and correct any anomalies or incomplete records. Implement controls to prevent any data anomalies or incomplete records, ensuring that all data is accurately recorded. Maintain data integrity across financial reporting processes. Work with the finance team to ensure that reports reflect true financial performance. Collaborate with finance and Technology and Transformation colleagues to improve data flows and system integrations. Identify potential risks in financial data handling and contribute to mitigating them through effective controls. Maintain and update data assurance procedures and documentation. The experience and skills you need Experience working with finance systems and CRM/databases Knowledge of data assurance techniques and best practices Ability to reconcile data across multiple systems and reports, verifying inconsistencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical approach to resolving challenges.
