An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, for a Band 6 Plain Film Radiographer to work primarily within the Community Sites, including Redcar, East Cleveland, Guisborough and One Life Centre (Middlesbrough). The services within the community sites are varied and host a wide range of clinics including those held by consultants from the acute sector.
The successful candidate will be a role model for demonstrating our Trust's values through their leadership attributes and be committed to providing high quality, patient focused patient care.
Although the successful candidate will be employed by South Tees there will be an expectation of collaborative working across the Tees Valley in the future should the need be required. However, this role is primarily for South Tees Plain Film services. The successful candidate will join the Community Plain Film roster.

Main duties of the job
The Radiology service is dedicated in facilitating continuous professional development and role extension/advanced practice. There are more than 30 Advanced Practitioners within the service, with specialist experience in fluoroscopy/interventional radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI and plain film radiographer reporting.

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the New and Aspiring leaders programme, and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. 1. Evidence of good general experience in radiography
2. Evidence of continuous personal and professional
3. Comply with National radiation Guidelines (IRMER) regulations
4. Understanding of the role and responsibilities of the post
