WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage AV systems integration projects to achieve time scope budget quality safety and customer satisfaction requirements.
As a Senior Project Manager in our Major Projects team, you will lead both pre-sales activities and project delivery for large-scale AV systems integration. In the pre-sales phase, you'll develop comprehensive RFP responses, create project timelines, provide labor estimates, and present delivery approaches to consultants and end users. Upon project award, you'll take full ownership of project execution, overseeing multi-phased implementations from inception to completion.
You will drive project success by managing all aspects of delivery including direction, coordination, implementation, and control of complex AV integration projects. Critical to this role is ensuring projects meet or exceed expectations across all key metrics: time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Working within AVI-SPL's established Project Management framework, you'll coordinate all activities required for successful project completion while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
* Share subject matter expertise to promote employee development
* Complete projects within assigned budget.
* Share subject matter expertise to promote employee development.
* Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
* Direct all personnel and activities on project site.
* Read and understand documents for each assigned project including but not limited to: project scopes of work bid drawings and specifications contract subcontractor scopes of work and construction schedules.
* Obtain quotes from qualified subcontractors as necessary.
* Facilitate internal project kick-off meetings that include key participants from sales engineering fabrication installation and programming.
* Create and manage the project schedule and coordinate appropriate resources for all assigned projects.
* Point of contact for all internal and external project communication and documentation for the life of the project.
* Provide weekly job progress reports to all internal and external stakeholders.
* Acquire daily site progress reports from lead technicians and respond to needs identified.
* Facilitate ordering of materials for projects.
* Coordinate equipment distribution and shipping to meet project timelines.
* Manage all internal and external project change orders.
* Verify work performed on each assigned job meets quality standards.
* Manage or facilitate the testing and certification of installed systems.
* Ensure clients receive appropriate training on all installed systems.
* Create and maintain all project related documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
* Address all project team questions in a timely manner.
* Travel to various job sites required.
* Other duties assigned as needed.

* Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standard.
Education and/or Experience
Must-Haves:
* Five years of experience as an AVI-SPL Project Manager or seven years similar experience outside of AVI-SPL preferred.
* Experience as a Project Manager in the construction or technology industries is required.
* Experience managing large multi-phase projects preferred.
* Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred.
