We are seeking an experienced and dynamic assistant Bar Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. As the assistant Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing shifts, ensuring safety standards, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our patrons.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring high levels of performance and customer service
* Develop and implement training programs for new staff members in hospitality and serving techniques
* Maintain inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food safety
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to create a cohesive dining experience for guests
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
* Create innovative drink menus that align with current trends while considering customer preferences
* Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and team management
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
* Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous
* Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
