Role: Process Engineer
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 per annum | Dependant on Experience
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00–16:00 | Flexible hours available

The Duties:
8. Develop, support, and optimise manufacturing processes to reduce variation, rework, and reject rates
9. Implement in-process measures and controls to improve consistency
10. Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues
11. Identify and prioritise cost-saving opportunities
12. Propose, risk-assess, implement, and validate changes to existing processes
13. Support the introduction of new equipment and technologies
The Requirements:
14. Degree in an Engineering-related discipline or equivalent hands-on experience
15. Strong understanding of manufacturing process development, control, and change management
16. Skilled in structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, and data reporting
17. Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies
18. Familiarity with materials and precision techniques such as adhesives, laser processing, machining, and functional testing
19. Knowledge of metrology systems (optical, tactile, vision), CAD tools, and automated assembly or programming
