Are you an experienced Quality professional looking to play a key role on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects?
We're supporting a major nuclear energy programme and are seeking an NCR Quality Engineer to provide first-line support to the Quality team and Responsible Designer, ensuring SWITCH NCR processes meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant, safety-critical project driving the UK's low-carbon future.
🚀 The Role
As an NCR Quality Engineer, you will:
Provide operational support for SWITCH NCR processes
Lead and support tool improvements (SWITCH & PowerBI)
Coordinate and support technical releases via JIRA (Accenture drops)
Own and maintain SWITCH NCR guidance documentation
Manage the SWITCH NCR mailbox and onboarding requests
Support PowerBI dashboard development and reporting
Maintain eNZO SWITCH NCR pages and user resources
Champion best practice and continuous improvement across the project
Support compliance with regulatory and quality standards
You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, Responsible Designers, suppliers, and digital teams - ensuring quality processes are robust, compliant, and continuously improving.
🛠 What We're Looking For
Essential:
Background in Quality Management within large, complex organisations
Understanding of ISO 9001 / ISO 19443 and regulated environments
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong IT capability (MS Office, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams)
Fluent written and spoken English
Desirable:
Nuclear or safety-critical industry experience
PowerBI experience
JIRA / Confluence (Atlassian tools) familiarity
Understanding of regulated nuclear site environments
