This opportunity places you at the heart of our maintenance function. You'll be a key point of coordination across the shift, taking responsibility for day‑to‑day engineering activity while contributing hands‑on technical expertise. Working closely with a skilled group of multi‑disciplined engineers, you'll help maintain equipment availability, enhance capability and ensure accurate recording of maintenance activity through our CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System). It's a role that blends technical skill, teamwork and service to our wider production environment.

About the role:
As a Maintenance Lead, you'll support the safe and efficient operation of our facilities by coordinating and contributing to maintenance activity during your shift. You'll remain a hands‑on engineer, working across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automated systems while supporting a team engineers. You'll act as the focal point for workload allocation, CMMS accuracy, reporting and management engagement meetings. Your work will be key to ensuring equipment availability and a consistent maintenance standard across all shifts.
What you'll be doing:
* Carrying out hands‑on maintenance and diagnostic work across plant and equipment.
* Coordinating and allocating tasks to support effective shift operations.
* Supporting engineers, encouraging skill development and teamwork.
* Ensuring CMMS accuracy, including work order progression and asset information.
* Contributing to preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
* Representing maintenance in cross‑functional meetings and providing clear reporting.
* Supporting safe contractor activity and contributing to improvement initiatives.
Who we're looking for:
* Strong mechanical and electrical competency.
* Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC systems (Siemens) and robotics.
* Experience in a mid‑ to high‑volume manufacturing environment.
* Experience working with CMMS platforms.
* Condition‑based monitoring knowledge.
* Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Experience working within a technical team.
