Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Portsmouth and do require travel to their offices.
Description
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Record and process financial transactions accurately and promptly.
* Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
* Reconcile bank statements and company ledgers.
* Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment runs.
* Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
* Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
* Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments on finance-related queries.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
* Provide general administrative support to the finance team.

To be successful for the Accounts Assistant position you must have done some or all of the above responsibilities.
