Your Key Responsibilities: * Oversee all day-to-day finance operations – AP/AR, cash flow, payroll, and compliance. * Ensure accurate CIS, VAT, and HMRC reporting. * Produce monthly management accounts, job cost reports, and year-end statements. * Lead budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis on a project and company-wide level. * Support operational teams with financial insights, tracking job costing and project margins. * Maintain and improve robust financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks. * Liaise with auditors, accountants, insurers, and banking partners. You’ll Be a Great Fit If You: ✔️ Are ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience). ✔️ Have a strong background in finance within the construction industry – this is essential. ✔️ Understand CIS, UK VAT, and construction-related compliance. ✔️ Are confident with QuickBooks and advanced Excel. ✔️ Enjoy balancing hands-on work with strategic thinking. ✔️ Are commercially-minded, detail-driven, and a clear communicator.
