Graduate / Junior Level – 1–2 Years’ Experience
Office-Based | UK
Are you an Electronics or Electrical Engineering graduate who loves seeing your designs come to life?
Do you enjoy working on real hardware – from PCB design through to testing and production?
Would you thrive in a small, agile engineering team where your ideas actually shape the end product?
If so, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
Humand Talent is partnering with an established and growing British manufacturer that designs and builds innovative electromechanical products used globally across commercial environments. With a strong engineering heritage and an exciting roadmap of new product development, our client is now looking for a passionate Graduate / Junior Electrical & Electronics Engineer to join their team.
This is a role where you won’t be siloed. You’ll gain hands-on exposure across the full product lifecycle – from concept and PCB design through to testing, compliance and production support.
Why This Role is Great
This isn’t just a support role. It’s an opportunity to build deep technical capability while taking real ownership early in your career.
You’ll get to:
* Design and develop electronic circuits and PCBs for both new and existing products
* Work on embedded electronics, power systems and control circuitry within real-world hardware applications
* Support the transition from R&D prototypes into full production
* Troubleshoot and fault-find at component and board level
* Contribute to product upgrades, improvements and performance optimisation
* Get involved in compliance, safety standards and regulatory testing
* See your designs move from schematic to physical product used internationally
You’ll be trusted to think for yourself, suggest improvements and take responsibility for your work – all within a supportive team environment.
About You
You might be a recent graduate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or you could have 1–2 years of industry experience and be looking for a role with broader exposure and greater ownership.
You’ll likely be excited by:
* PCB design and schematic capture
* Analogue and digital circuit design
* Microcontrollers, embedded systems or power electronics
* Hands-on lab testing and validation
* Improving existing designs and making products more robust and efficient
* Working closely with manufacturing to refine and enhance production builds
Experience that would be useful (but not essential):
* PCB design software (any industry-standard package)
* Understanding of EMC, safety or regulatory compliance
* Exposure to manufacturing environments
* Fault-finding and root cause analysis
* Familiarity with CAD tools for cross-functional collaboration
Most importantly, you’ll be curious, proactive and genuinely enthusiastic about electronics. If you enjoy building, testing, refining and learning – you’ll fit right in.
If you have transferable skills or relevant academic project experience, we would strongly encourage you to apply.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
If you’re an ambitious Electronics or Electrical Engineering graduate – or a junior engineer ready for more ownership – we’d love to hear from you.
