We are recruiting a Production Planner to join a busy operational team in Leeds on a permanent, full-time basis. You will work closely with supervisors, engineers and clients to plan, prioritise and allocate works, while maintaining high standards of data accuracy, compliance and customer service.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing daily work diaries and appointment schedules for engineers using an interactive planning system
* Managing rolling short-term plans to ensure efficient allocation of resources
* Monitoring and managing dashboards, including follow-on works, unallocated orders and overdue repairs
* Coordinating emergency repairs, failed appointments and no-access issues
* Liaising daily with delivery supervisors to agree and sign off appointment schedules
* Taking inbound calls from clients and engineers to log and manage maintenance requests
* Rebooking incomplete works and updating systems accordingly
* Logging all repair activity accurately, including job updates and completion details
* Informing clients of variations, follow-on works or further repair requirements
* Keeping operational and planning teams informed of incomplete or delayed works
* Proactively identifying and mitigating potential service failures
* Maintaining accurate and timely data entry across client and internal systems
* Responding to repair queries from clients, residents, engineers and management
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, helpdesk or dispatch role (desirable)
* Strong understanding of work allocation, prioritisation and diary management
* Experience handling inbound calls and managing maintenance-related queries
* Ability to work to processes, guidelines and performance targets
