With the continued growth and outstanding reputation of our 16-19 full-time and apprenticeship provision, the Faculty of Construction and the Built Environment is excited to recruit a dedicated and empathetic Mentor for engagement. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young learners in one of the UK's leading colleges.
We're looking for someone who is

* organised and able to manage and monitor effective interventions
* committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

What you'll be doing
* mentoring and coaching 16-19 learners and apprentices in Construction and the Built Environment to help them engage fully with college life
* supporting students through emotional, social and behavioural challenges
* delivering one-to-one and small group interventions
* working closely with teaching staff and support teams to ensure students succeed
* liaising with families and external agencies where necessary
* tracking progress and celebrating student development
