Responsibilities
* Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, shopping and using public transport to support independence.
* Provide emotional support for both the service users and their families.
* Support with personal care while ensuring dignity is maintained.
* Administer medication, manage paperwork, and help keep the service running smoothly.
* Engage service users in activities that promote happiness, connection and community involvement.
* Work as part of a team to deliver consistent, person-centered care.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Previous experience with individuals who have learning disabilities or autism is not essential; energy, compassion and a genuine desire to make a difference are valued.
* A full UK driving license is an essential requirement for this role, due to travelling around the community to provide support to service users.
