Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Head Baker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and taste. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety.
Duties
* Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
* Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety regulations and standards.
* Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
* Assist in the training of junior kitchen staff in baking techniques and food preparation methods.
* Conduct quality checks on baked products to ensure consistency in flavour, texture, and appearance.

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
