About the Role We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Co-ordinator to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. You’ll play a key role in managing supplier relationships, processing orders, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting our sustainability and commercial goals. This role will support both UK operations and collaborate closely with our Spacestor Inc team in the US. Key Responsibilities • Manage production orders, quotation requests, and purchase orders using Business Central. • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery aligned with customer shipment dates. • Control stock through the MRP process, optimising inventory levels. • Build strong relationships with key suppliers to secure the best service and communication. • Maintain cost management data to support commercial decision-making. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clear communication and successful outcomes. • Proactively highlight supply risks and help manage customer expectations. • Support our sustainability goals, aligning purchasing with 'Net Zero 40'. • Contribute to pricing, contingency planning, and supplier stockholding projects. • Work with our US team to improve global purchasing processes and cost-efficiency. Qualifications and Experience • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations coordination. • Knowledge of ERP systems (especially Business Central) and MRP processes. • Strong background in supplier management and cost control. • Experience working on cross-functional improvement projects. • Familiarity with compliance, sustainability, and procurement legislation. • Experience in a multi-site or international business is desirable.
