Eaton Syalon are supporting a growing organisation with the recruitment of an experienced Bid Manager to lead, coordinate and deliver high quality proposals across a range of complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

You’ll play a key role in shaping winning submissions, guiding internal teams, and ensuring that opportunities are managed with clarity, pace, and strong governance from start to finish.
Duties:
* Building clear bid schedules with defined actions, checkpoints and review stages
* Creating strong written content that showcases key messages, differentiators and value
* Working closely with SMEs to gather accurate technical, operational and commercial detail
* Turning complex inputs into concise, customer-focused proposal material
* Keeping all governance tools up to date, including compliance checks, risk logs and trackers
* Assisting with pricing discussions, cost considerations and overall value positioning
* Handling several bids at once with strong organisation and consistence
* Continuously refining templates, processes and bid materials to improve future submissions
Qualifications & Experience
* You’ll have a solid academic foundation or equivalent hands-on experience gained in a structured, professional environment
* At least five years’ experience working in a dedicated bid, tender or proposal management role
* A track record of running well-organised, compliant bid processes from start to finish
* Confident using Microsoft Office to produce polished, accurate and well-presented documents
* Exposure to tools such as bid platforms, CRM systems or proposal software would be beneficial
* Professional development such as APMP (or similar) is welcome, though not essential
