P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join their team based in Sevenoaks on a full-time, permanent basis. Role Summary: As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the frontline expert delivering precision calibration, commissioning, and repair services across customer sites throughout the UK. In your role, you will be home based travelling to customer sites daily to undertake your work. Main Responsibilities: Calibrate, commission, and troubleshoot on-site process weighing systems using F1/M1 test weights, flow meters, and force calibration rigs Install and commission belt weighers and boiler leak detection systems Calibrate instruments for temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity, and magnet strength Perform off-site repairs of scales and balances Complete service reports and calibration certificates before leaving site Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures Support assembly and testing at HQ as needed Provide weekend cover (one in every three Saturdays) Collaborate with or support fellow engineers on joint service jobs Travel and overnight stays across the UK as required Qualifications and Experience: ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC preferred) Time-served engineer or equivalent hands-on field experience Strong background in service/calibration of process weighing equipment Experience in temperature calibration ...
