PSR Solutions are working with an established client within the Civil Engineering and Utilities Sectors to recruit a SHEQ Manager to Lead their Health and Safety team on a permanent basis. This role with be based in the North West of England and involves work within the Gas/Utilities Sector.
SHEQ Manager Roles and Responsibilities
Manage a team of SHEQ Advisors to support projects in the delivery of the companies Health, Safety and Environmental strategy.
Ensure managers assume full responsibility for the discharge of responsibilities, associated with their normal activities.
Conduct travel required across England, Scotland and Wales, providing operational teams and SHE advisors with the advice and guidance.
Act as a single point of contact for advice and expertise on Health & Safety matters to the project teams to ensure the effectiveness of the Construction Phase Plans during the lifecycle of the project.
Undertake reviews of documentation, participate in site safety meetings, H&S Audits & Sensible Monitoring Inspections on gas projects.
Provide monthly H&S data & safety stats to Directors as needed, along with monthly SHE performance bulletin and send this out to the business.
SHEQ Manager Requirements
Diploma (or equivalent) in Health & Safety and or considerable relevant Gas & Water industry experience
5 years of experience working within a senior SHEQ position
