We currently have a vacancy for a PFI General Manager to join our Asset Operations team at Kajima Partnerships Ltd.
The role is suited for an astute, people-focused candidate who enjoys team working and problem solving in complex environments. Our Asset Managers sit on the SPV board as statutory directors. They should have an excellent eye for detail, report writing skills, and be confident in sharing and presenting information. The role is home-based with some travel to asset sites, ideally in the Nottingham/Leicester/Peterborough area.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring Kajima Partnerships Limited meets its obligations under its Management Services Agreement with the Project Company, addressing any non-compliance.
2. Ensuring delivery of and compliance with all obligations of the Project Agreement, Project finance documents, and related contracts.
3. Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Project Agreement, Schedules, and Service Provider sub-contracts.
4. Effective liaison with the Board and Funders as required.
5. Managing and recording Board meetings and proceedings in conjunction with the Company Secretary.
6. Managing the commercial and financial aspects of projects.
7. Operational management of projects.
8. Service performance management.
9. Serving as a board director for the Project Co., with associated responsibilities.
Key skills and experience include:
* Proven experience with complex Project Agreements in PFI or similar environments.
* Understanding of PFI funding and contractual structures.
* Stakeholder relationship management at senior levels.
* Experience with detailed contractual and legal compliance.
* Risk management and legal dispute resolution skills.
* Applying value-for-money principles to lifecycle expenditure.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills.
* Leadership and team management experience.
* Business development capability.
* Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
