Brymore Academy is seeking a committed Cleaning Supervisor to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across our large all-through school site. Working closely with the Head Caretaker, you will oversee the cleaning team and ensure high standards are consistently met in line with Health & Safety requirements.
Location: Brymore & APEX Meadows
35 hours per week, 42 weeks per year, Permanent.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am 2pm
Salary: Band 3, Points 3-4. Actual starting salary: £21,536.25 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support cleaning staff, ensuring quality and timekeeping.
* Allocate work areas and monitor cleaning standards.
* Provide induction and training for new staff and maintain records.
* Manage stock levels of materials and equipment.
* Ensure safe use and storage of cleaning products (COSHH).
* Conduct regular site inspections and report any damage.

* Knowledgeable about cleaning techniques and Health & Safety requirements.
* Able to work independently and use initiative.
* Basic IT skills and good communication essential.
