A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Lead Trade Planning Manager to join the team. Owning the trade and promotional plan for the Packaged division, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing a plan based on customer and product insight, delivering a winning proposition for our Customers and Tesco.
The role would suit someone with experience of critical path management along with a proven track record of making decisions on Market Data.

You will be responsible for
6. Understand the drivers of performance, through sound analytics and strong partnership with relevant functions (. dunnhumby, finance, insight) and use this to build a Trade Space plan with known incremental value. Develop and manage format specific Trade Plans, ensuring promotions are relevant for each channel.
7. Reviewing & continuously improving the Promotional offering, optimizing all pieces of Feature Space, to drive sales and enhanced customer perception whilst insuring simplification where appropriate.
8. Prioritizing propositions, promotions, and offers based on customer needs and calendar themes.
9. Work with Finance to understand the forward forecast, identify over and under delivery and pro-actively build a plan to ensure we achieve the business performance.
10. Owning delivery of critical path
11. Competitor expert on promotions and Feature Space, across channels. Anticipate competitor activity to proactively build plans to ensure we “win the week”
12. Owning the relationship and communication of Product strategy with Retail, Product, Customer and SRM.
13. Work Collaboratively across the Strategy and Trade Category, calling on expertise from within Price, Promotions and Dunnhumby colleagues.
14. Development, support and guidance of all my team to ensure they have the training and tools to deliver their work
