The Leeds office is seeking a Director to lead the Charities Investment Management team, overseeing significant assets for Charity and Institutional clients across Yorkshire and nearby areas.
The successful candidate will develop strong partnerships with existing and potential charity clients, tailoring and actively managing investment portfolios to meet their specific needs, reporting on progress, and enhancing relationships through value-added services.
They will also identify new client relationships and opportunities by developing business through key origination tactics and networks, ultimately elevating the profile of the Charities team.
What will you do?
* Manage a Charities client base, maintaining existing relationships and generating new business.
* Lead interactions on Investment processes and solutions, ensuring a full understanding of clients' financial and personal goals.
* Operate with a growth mindset, managing new business targets and leading business development activities.
* Collaborate with the broader Wealth Management Europe (WME) team, introducing specialists to enhance client experience.
* Embody operational excellence, leveraging process and system enhancements for growth.
* Lead and mentor the team to ensure professional growth and exceptional service delivery.
* Drive performance management through goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
* Meet FCA and internal qualification requirements for providing advice in complex areas.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Experience managing assets for Charities clients.
* Level 6 CIB, CISI, or CII certification; SPS maintained as per professional standards.
* Registration with the relevant regulatory body to provide advice.
* Extensive experience in Wealth Management.
* Strong relationship management skills to understand and articulate client needs.
Nice-to-have
* Previous people management experience.
