Fitter/Installer | Boroughbridge, York – working mainly at customer sites | Full Time - 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8:00 – 17:00, Fri 8.00 – 14.30 | Starting from £26,500, subject to experience
Our client is looking for someone to join their manufacturing company based near Boroughbridge. They are based just off the A1, however, the Fitter/Installer role requires that most of the working time will be spent on our customers' sites, which are Nationwide, and transport is provided. The successful candidate will be working at our Factory site when not at our customer site.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the fitting and installation of products such as cubicles, washrooms, vanity units and lockers. They will work within the construction industry, country wide, providing a professional fitting/installation service to a range of organisations such as schools, sports and leisure centres, healthcare centres and entertainment facilities.

Experience with materials handling, ensuring safe and efficient movement of products
NVQ L2 Joinery
Driving licence
CSCS card (desirable)
Willing to stay overnight
Experience in on-site joinery
Experience in the cubicle industry (desirable)
DBS checks required for some sites
What will your role look like?
Install company products on-site to individual order requirements as directed by the installation supervisor or manager
Check on-site dimensions against drawings before commencing
Ensure all installations are to the design and layout of each order's signed-off drawings
Ensure all installations are completed within the required timeframe (as instructed by the installation supervisor or manager)
Complete installations by leaving the site clean and tidy, and check that all pencil marks are removed
Report hours spent on each site/order to the installation supervisor or manager
Complete any snagging items required by the installation supervisor or manager
Check that all tools and equipment are in good working order and report any faults to the installation supervisor or manager
