Role: PAAF Manager
The PAAF Manager is responsible for controlling and monitoring PAAF registers across various projects, ensuring that PAAF Champions work according to works information and contractual mechanisms. They will audit PAAF registers to verify SQEP compliance and other requirements, work with the Payments Manager to investigate approvals or disallowed PAAF entries via CEMAR, and collaborate with project teams to resolve issues. The manager will ensure processes are in place for maintaining PAAF documentation and will report, forecast, and communicate to support resource planning.
Key Duties
1. Ensure control of PAAF documentation in line with procedures, including logging, copying, distribution, storage, transmittals, revision control, and maintaining the central PAAF register.
2. Liaise with project management and other teams to ensure payment approval conditions are met and support future audits.
3. Ensure the PAAF register is linked to project organograms and includes job descriptions for onboarding and offboarding personnel.
4. Manage the annual PAAF renewal process, maintaining form sequences and amendments.
5. Assist with change controls for the PAAF register and process as needed.
6. Coordinate with Commercial Leads to ensure rates and expenses are aligned with works information and audit requirements.
7. Ensure templates conform to procedures and quality management systems.
8. Provide regular reports on PAAF status, risks, and improvement opportunities to project leaders.
9. Perform any additional duties to support the PAAF process and project reporting.
