Production Worker Shift Times: Monday- Friday 37.5 Hours Pay Rate: £12.21ph rising to £12.65 after 12 weeks on site Location: Poole, BH17 0RZ Job Purpose / Overview We are seeking an experienced Production Operative to join our established team manufacturing high-quality gas detection products. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of production practices and procedures, be highly quality-focused, and work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Role Responsibilities * Assemble gas detection products from multiple subassemblies using mechanical assembly techniques and/or soldering of component parts. * Test and calibrate subassemblies on the production line to ensure they meet product specifications and tolerance requirements. * Record process yields to support quality monitoring and continuous improvement. * Identify and repair units that fail tests or fall outside of tolerance levels. * Carry out daily checks on assembly processes, ensuring all process metrics are followed. * Work safely and proactively contribute to a strong safety culture through safety observations. * Actively participate in Honeywell Operating System (HOS), 5S housekeeping, Kaizen continuous improvements, and SQDCI metrics. * Perform potting/encapsulation operations as a primary responsibility.
