About the role
We're looking for a Growth Lead to own and scale our self-serve business. You'll drive acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention, working directly with our founders to build the growth engine for our LLM gateway platform.
With 25,000+ developers using Requesty and $1.5M ARR, we're at an inflection point. The product is proven, the market is exploding, and we need someone to turn growth from a function into a science.
This is an opportunity to own growth at a product-led company in one of the fastest-growing categories in tech. You'll have autonomy to experiment, data to optimize, and direct impact on our trajectory.
What you'll do
* Own the self-serve funnel: Drive acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention metrics across the entire user journey
* Scale digital channels: Own and optimize SEO, paid media (search, display, social), content marketing, and emerging channels like Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
* Partner with Engineering: Work closely with the engineering team to optimize onboarding flows, feature adoption, and monetization strategies
* Build a growth machine: Establish frameworks for experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven decision making across all growth initiatives
* Optimize for developers: Craft messaging, content, and campaigns that resonate with technical audiences (developers, AI engineers, technical decision-makers)
* Find growth hacks: Identify and validate unconventional growth opportunities through community building, developer advocacy, partnerships, viral loops, and emerging AI discovery surfaces
* Drive the metrics: Define, track, and improve key growth KPIs including CAC, LTV, activation rate, conversion rate, retention, payback period, and channel ROI
What we're looking for
* 3+ years of growth marketing experience in PLG (product-led growth) or self-serve SaaS companies
* Proven track record scaling self-serve acquisition and driving measurable growth across the full funnel
* Deep expertise in digital marketing channels including SEO, paid acquisition, content, lifecycle/email marketing, and conversion optimization
* Data-driven mindset: You live and breathe metrics, run experiments constantly, and let data guide decisions
* Developer marketing experience: You understand how to market to technical audiences and speak their language
* Scrappy and entrepreneurial: Comfortable wearing multiple hats, moving fast, and finding creative solutions with limited resources
* Ownership mentality: You thrive on autonomy and take full responsibility for outcomes
Bonus points
* Worked at a developer tools or infrastructure company (Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Cloudflare, etc.)
* Familiarity with AI/ML tools and the LLM ecosystem
* Early experimentation with Generative Engine Optimization (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini visibility)
* Experience building developer communities or running technical content programs
* Background in product management or engineering so you can talk shop with developers
