We are now recruiting for a Materials Handler to join our Pre-Production department.
You will undertake accurate movement and tracking of parts and materials through the pre-production process. This will include unloading, checking and allocation of parts at goods receiving, picking of kits and issuing of parts to work orders.
Hours of work are Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday, 7am-5.30pm, and the salary is £12.60 per hour + bonus.

The main duties of the role are:
11. Check parts received/delivered and prepare appropriate documentation for parts to be received on the system
12. Locate parts accurately and safely in their designated bin location
13. Pick build kits in line with pre-production build plans and deliver kits to operator/work area
14. Charge out parts accurately for in-house customer
15. Investigate any stock discrepancies to supervisor
16. Replenish pre-production consumables cupboards and floor stock
17. Participate in stock counts
To be effective in this role, you will have:
18. Previous experience of working in a stores/warehouse environment
19. Proven knowledge in the use of ERP systems
20. Excellent attention to detail
A counterbalance forklift licence is essential for this role.
