At Ocado Logistics it's our mission tochange the way the world shops for groceries and it all starts withour LGV drivers. Using our state of the art fleet – some powered bynatural gas for specific routes and fitted with extra safetytechnology - our drivers take to the road to deliver and collectproducts to and from a variety of locations across theUK.
Our larger warehouses (which we callCFC's – Customer Fulfilment centres) are cutting edge, and vast(our largest is 573,000sq ft – that's big enough to accommodate 7Wembley football pitches!) and our LGV Drivers play a crucial rolecollecting shopping and distributing it across our smaller regionalwarehouse sites, for onward delivery to customers. We make a bigpoint that we don't offer multi drops so there's no hiddenlanes!
Our LGV Drivers are our unsung heroesand whilst most of us are sleeping they are distributing ourproducts to ensure it's there as and when we needit.You willbe required to work within a flexible shift pattern consisting ofnights, late, and early shifts, including weekends. You have theoption to work 32 hours over 4 days or 40 hours over 5 days. Ourroutes are assigned up to 12.5 hours per day; as such, you willregularly be expected to carry out additional hours as and whenneeded. This role is based at our Dordon site, Danny Morson Way,Dordon B78 1SE.

So what do we need fromyou?
A passion for driving and all thingstrucks and lorries, along with the following driving licencerequirements:
* A category C+E drivinglicence
* Amaximum of 6 penaltypoints
* Nodriving disqualifications in the past 10years
* Desirable to have a minimum of 6 monthsexperience
It also is a prerequisite that you are a safe andcompetent driver with the ability to be flexible on your shiftlength on a daily basis. As our new state of the art fleet are ourpride and joy and we need to know they are in safehands.

Pay Structure: This position is lunarpaid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according toa monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration whenapplying.

Basic hourly:£17.73
Evening premium (18:00-06:00):£19.73
Sunday Premium:£19.39
Sunday Evening Premium (18:00-06:00):£21.48
Overtime Day shift:£22.16
Overtime evening (18:00-06:00):£24.53
