Your Role
As a Territory Manager, you will be part of a dynamic field-based team, working closely with our client in the financial sector to provide exceptional welcome services to new merchants.
A Day in the Life
* Welcome new merchants who are adopting our client’s credit services.
* Travel within your assigned territory, visiting up to 35 retailers each day.
* Spend approximately 50% of your 8-hour workday in-store.
* Occasionally travel up to two hours from home for merchant visits.
* Show merchants the value of customers using the client’s line of credit services.
* Address any concerns from hesitant merchants.
* Place Point of Purchase signage at each business.

Your Responsibilities
* Partner with clients to train and advocate for their products at retail locations.
* Drive merchant awareness within your territory.
* Maintain professional relationships with merchants and colleagues.
* Advise merchants on product offerings.
* Audit and document competitive products, promotions, and merchant feedback.
* Travel to major markets for product launches.
* Assist in launch-related activities as needed.
* Accurately track and communicate all activities to Retail Operations.
* Submit feedback reports in a timely manner.
Performance Metrics
* Meet or exceed quarterly visit goals.
* Achieve weekly in-store time targets.
* Visit multiple store locations daily and weekly.
* Schedule store visits effectively two weeks in advance.
* Execute assigned activities during each visit.
* Establish and nurture business relationships through merchant awareness and POP placement.
* Maintain accurate documentation for each visit.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
* At least six months of experience in sales, promotion, retail, or marketing.
* Strong knowledge of products and services.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
* Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Reliable transportation within your assigned territory.
