* Client: Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) – Metworks In-House Repairs Team
* Location: Beeston (NG9) – Covering Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire
* Salary: £40,548 per annum (pro-rata for temporary roles)
* Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (30 minutes unpaid lunch per day)
* Base: Beeston Office, NG9 1LA
* Immediate Start: Subject to successful interview and competency test

The Opportunity
We are recruiting a skilled and qualified Electrician to work within MTVH’s Metworks team. This role is offered on a temporary or temp-to-permanent basis and involves carrying out domestic electrical repairs and maintenance across approximately 10,500 homes throughout Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Essential Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* City & Guilds 2361 Parts 1 & 2 and AM2 (or equivalent)
* 17th or 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
* City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
* Full UK manual driving licence with minimum 1 year driving experience
The Role
* Domestic electrical installation, repair and maintenance works
* Inspection, testing, certification and remedial works
* Working in compliance with IEE Wiring Regulations and Building Regulations
* Attending in-house training and CPD to support NICEIC accreditation
