The role
Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for an experienced Technology Service Design professional with a background in large-scale or complex organisations. We ideally want experience in Critical National Infrastructure or similarly regulated environments. We need demonstrable experience developing and embedding service design frameworks and models. We need someone who can work effectively with technical teams such as infrastructure, engineering, and architecture. We are looking for strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in challenging or high-pressure environments. We want experience working with government or public sector clients, including approval processes. We require knowledge of IT service frameworks such as ITIL. Responsibilities: We define, document, and produce comprehensive service design frameworks, principles, and models. We establish the underlying service design architecture to support operational and strategic outcomes. We lead the implementation and embedding of service design practices across our organisation. We ensure adoption of service design standards within technical and operational teams. We engage with government clients to gain acceptance and formal approval of service design deliverables. We manage complex stakeholder environments, balancing multiple priorities and viewpoints. We work closely with the service design team to align approaches and integrate best practices. We partner with cross-functional technical teams to ensure designs are practical and executable. We translate service design concepts into deliverable outcomes within a technical infrastructure environment. We bridge the gap between design, architecture, and engineering teams.
