Are you passionate about supporting students and making a difference in their educational experience? We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking School in Winchester. This role will allow you to gain valuable experience and contribute positively to student development.
Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Assist teachers with lesson delivery and small group activities.
* Support students needing additional help, providing targeted interventions and adapting materials.
* Help maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour.
* Aid in assessing and recording student progress to inform teaching strategies.
* Take part in extracurricular activities to support student engagement and growth.
Requirements:
* A degree in any subject or relevant experience with transferable skills.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards education.
* Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic teaching environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Hold a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply through GSL Education.
